Refund Policy
Last updated: June 7, 2026. All sales are final. Please review our policy regarding prepaid balances and billing.
Refetch(er) provides a pay-as-you-go developer scraping service. Because credits are charged dynamically per successful query and failed scrapes are not billed, billing is highly precise.
All sales are final. We do not provide cash refunds for any prepaid balances, unused credits, or account closures. Once you purchase credit via a top-up, that transaction is non-refundable and the credit remains on your account indefinitely.
2. Billing Mistakes & Adjustments
While we do not offer cash refunds, we are committed to ensuring you only pay for successful queries. If you believe there has been a billing discrepancy, error, or double debit on your ledger:
- Please contact us at billing@refetcher.com within thirty (30) days of the transaction. We will audit your request logs (checking status codes, target URLs, and timestamps).
- If we confirm a dispatcher logging error debited your balance for a failed or rate-limited scrape, we will issue a credit adjustment to restore the debited balance instantly to your account.
- In the rare event of a duplicate top-up charge solely due to a payment gateway error, we will reverse the duplicate transaction back to your original payment method through the applicable provider.
3. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Any chargeback or dispute will result in:
- The immediate and permanent termination of your account.
- Forfeiture of any remaining balance or bonus credits.
- Permanent blacklisting of your API keys, IP addresses, and email address from using our Service in the future.
4. Service Termination
In the unlikely event that Refetch(er) decides to permanently sunset or terminate the API service for all users:
- We will provide at least thirty (30) days advance notice via the email address registered to your account.
- During this notice period, you may continue to use your remaining balance.
- Upon the final shutdown date, any unused cash-funded balance remaining in your account will be automatically refunded to your original payment method, provided the original payment method is still active and valid. Bonus credits and trial credits remain non-refundable.
